The Poet’s Bookshelf

The Poet’s Bookshelf is an Anti-Racist Bookclub/Writing Workshop that champions and centers the work of non-white writers. The goal of this workshop is to welcome writers of all different background and levels to experience poetry and write to what calls to their inspiration. We believe that in order to be a good writer, you have o be an excellent reader. Which means that poets champion communication and understanding, over simple imitation, while learning to exercise their own voice
